Freeze dried krill contain 70% protein and a high concentration of natural
color enhancers. May be fed at a ratio of 1 part Krill to 4 parts of dry
Koi food or may be fed as a treat. Improves colors and viability of fry
and adult Koi. These Krill, like small shrimp, are one of the best color
enhancing foods available. Because its dried, it lasts for years if stored
properly.

BULK MEDICATED FISH FOOD |

Two types of sinking medicated food manufactured for food fish and
containing two different anti-biotics are available in medium sized slow
sinking pellets. Koi love this food and because it sinks to the bottom
where the sick fish may linger, most sick fish will receive this form of
medication. A third food is available with a top-coat of Oxolinic acid.
This food is a small floating pellet and is ideal for all sizes
of fish. This would probably be my first choice if I had fish with open
sores. I would feed them this food for 10 days and then begin feeding them
with 05-ROM305, followed by 05-TET005
Fish with open wounds or obvious infections can be fed ;all of these foods while pond is medicated with TONIC, ICH CURE WITH FORMALIN, etc. Plan to have some or all of these foods on hand for treating Koi in the spring as they come out of over-wintering. Because it is difficult to predict which of the three will work, keep all on hand as insurance. These foods may be kept in your refrigerator or freezer for long term storage.
05-ROM305 contains Romet 30 for use on fish with infections such as furunculosis caused by Aeromonas infections.05-ROM305 was used successfully against the dreaded "Hole-in the side" a few years back. Feed exclusively for 7 days.
05-TET005 contains tetracycline and is used to treat for infections such as furunculosis and bacterial hemorrhagic septicemia caused by Aeromonas and pseudomonas. Feed exclusively for 10 days.
05-OXOL04 contains Oxolinic acid and has been known to work very well as
a treatment for aeromonas, hole-in-the-side, ulcers, etc. This food is
top-coated and only comes in a small, floating pellet, which makes it ideal
for all fish. Feed exclusively for 10 days.
